About Kelly

Kelly graduated from Lewis & Clark School of Law in Portland in 2004. During law school, she worked for the Land Use Board of Appeals, as well as various municipal governments, tribal agencies and non-profit organizations. In addition, she earned a certificate in environmental and natural resources law, and was the recipient of the Cornelius Honors Society Award and the Pro Bono Honors Program for three consecutive years.

Kelly also has a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis on international business from the University of Montana. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a consultant for the Montana Export Assistance Center, a support center for small businesses seeking to export their products overseas.

Upon graduation from law school, Kelly worked for the City Attorney’s Office for the City of Vancouver, until she was offered the opportunity to move to Central Oregon and work in the non-profit arena. With this position, she directed planned giving, major gifts and foundation programs, as well as provided financial planning oversight.

Thereinafter, Kelly worked in private practice for firms in Portland and Bend, Oregon where she focused on estate planning, probate, business and real estate law. In 2011, she moved back her home in the Flathead Valley to begin working with Measure, Sampsel, Sullivan & O’Brien, P.C. Kelly is a partner with Measure, Sampsel, Sullivan & O’Brien, P.C where she continues to work with businesses, individuals and families offering insight and techniques to plan effectively for the future.

Kelly is licensed to practice law in Montana and Oregon. Her practice focuses on estate planning and estate administration; business and corporate law; and real estate, water and natural resources law.
